A romantic afternoon in an open field…
Rob, Caroline, and I walked out into a muggy afternoon. We were initially going to shoot near sunset, but with a storm looming on the horizon and cloud coverage anyway, it only made sense to meet a little earlier.
You ever feel like you’re in a movie? This was one of those shoots.
Rob and Caroline mesh so effortlessly. You can tell their relationship is built on a strong foundation of friendship, trust, and love. Throughout the shoot, they were both affectionate, caring, and just enjoying the time together.
When the first bout of thunder came (about 30 minutes in), I peeked above the camera and asked what they thought. Without question, they said to keep going.
And then the rain. At first, a very refreshing drizzle. And then, a little steadier of a pour that most people would’ve boogied out of.
Instead, we decided to go straight “Notebook with it”
And as a result, we had finished out a naturally gorgeous shoot with some memory-making shots that got an already excited photog even more excited for what’s bound to be an incredible wedding this October.
Cannot wait to celebrate with these two. Congratulations, Rob & Caroline, and thank you so much for giving me the honor to work with you two!
