Jadon + Gina | 09/2022
My first time photographing at the Inne at the Abingtons couldn’t have been with a better couple – family friends, Jadon + Gina. Their ceremony was God-glorifying, full of family and friends, and was adorned from head to toe with love in every detail.
Prep started off our day with an intimate circle consisting of Gina’s mom, grandma, and bridesmaids. I loved the community and care each of these women provided for one another (and most importantly, Gina). Helping each other with makeup, dressing, laughing, and prayer -the morning went by as quickly as it came.
And how could the day pass without an emotional first look with Dad?
Their ceremony was even more beautiful, with tears springing from the eyes of all. Handwritten vows were shared, acoustic music was played, and the warm September day wafted over us all as we witnessed the joining of a gorgeous couple.
The best part about a wedding with your closest family and friends, is the fun and effortless portrait session afterward. These are truly authentic memories.
A 15 or so minute bridal session following the ceremony gave the newlyweds some time to breathe and take in the day for the first time. The garden and walkway provided a romantic & airy aesthetic, with the field behind us giving the early afternoon a sense of utter peace and tranquility. I could have sat out there all day – but there was still dinner and dancing to be had!
And there was plenty of dancing.
Praying for many, many years of wedded bliss for these dear friends of mine.
